Health Trainers in Easington
There are  health trainers in the Easington area of County Durham Primary Care Trust, available to work with anyone aged 16 and over.
The health trainers support people to eat a healthier diet, increase their physical activity and stop smoking .
Health trainers work on a one to one basis with people, offering practical support and motivation to help them make the changes towards improving their health.
They are friendly and approachable local people who have been trained by the PCT. They have a good understanding of what it's like to live in the area and they know the problems that people face on a daily basis that can stop them making those changes.
The health trainers are happy to meet people wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that be in your own home or a local community venue.
You can contact the Health Trainer Service on 0191 569 2841.

St Paul’s Church
The war memorial plaques which were taken from St Paul church have now been sited at the community centre if anyone would like to view them.

Volunteers always needed!
If you can spare a few hours and would like to help out, please let us know. Just call in  the centre, or telephone 01429 88 22 00
