Banner Group
Deaf Hill Miners Banner Group is planning the celebrations for this years Miners Gala. Volunteers wanted to carry the Banner on Big Meeting day or on the parade around the community on the Wednesday prior.
Parish News The recent cold spell caused problems with icy paths and other areas that the local authority does not treat with salt and grit. The Parish Council will now provide roadside grit bins for use by residents during adverse weather.
Deaf Hill Cemetery: maintenance contractors started and work is ongoing.

Windsor Street allotments; hedges trimmed back and trees cut .
Entrance to recreation ground at memorial gardens: trees cut and tidied up
Hedge and fence opposite St Aidans Terrace completely renewed.
Estimates have been obtained to renew the ‘black path’ across the green opposite Purvis Terrace.
Hedges have been cut back on bridge down to Station Road post office.
